Scheduled Maintenance

Huntsville ISD is scheduled for required technology maintenence to address necessary repairs/upgrades.  This Saturday, January 28th the district email system and website will be pulled down for service until the work is complete.  Please "forgive our absence" during this time.

Indian Survey

Parent Reminder:  Please check your child's folders and backpacks for a 2-page packet survey regarding an Indian Heritage Grant. If you haven't done so yet, please complete the form(s) and return to your child's homeroom teacher immediately. We need ALL forms returned whether you marked 'No' or 'Yes.'  If you marked 'Yes' we also need the completed eligibility application form returned with the NAME OF THE TRIBE and your signature. You do not have to be full-blooded Indian to qualify. Thank you for your participation. If you have questions please contact your campus secretary, or the Deputy Superintendent's Office at (936) 435-6309.

Advanced Academics

Parents of students currently enrolled in grades 1-4 who wish to nominate their child for possible identification in the Huntsville ISD Advanced Academics Program (formerly gifted and talented) should contact their school counselor or the Office of Special Programs and Assessment at 435-6324 before Tuesday, January 31, 2012 for more information.
